I am in the water a lot, surfing, swimming, etc. And my nails tend to get brittle. Does anyone know of a good brand that really works?Can anyone recommend a good nail strengthener?
Pinnacle makes a good nail hardener called Tough. You can only get it through salons though. Don't be seduced by Sally Hansen which is junk. Another thing you can do to grow hard as iron nails is to take horsetail silica which you can get from General Nutrition Centers. No it's not made from horses tails...horsetail is a type of reed. Also, soft nails from water is usually caused from dryed out cuticles, so every night before bed put some nail oil on those cutes and make sure to use plenty of lotion too.Can anyone recommend a good nail strengthener?
